My latest series of sculptures is loosely based on the phallic figures depicted in the painting “Three Figures At The Base Of A Crucifixion” by Francis Bacon.
The dimensions of this piece are 14” x 12” x 8”. He’s roughly the size of a large cantaloupe with a banana attached. He is a one of a kind piece sculpted from epoxy resin using no molds or forms. There is an opening in his mouth and his neck and body are hollow. A cap on the base unscrews to allow access to whatever you would like to secret inside. He’s painted with acrylics and sealed with a high gloss finish. The piece is signed and dated inside the cap.
Although epoxy resin is a very hard, durable medium this item is not a toy (of any kind) and should not be treated as such.
